Hello my name is Rachel Heptner. I am 20 years old and an enrolled member of the Blackfeet Tribe in Browning, Montana. My parents are Norman Heptner and Valerie Running Fisher- Heptner, I have two younger brothers and an older sister.
I am currently going to college at Montana State University pursing to get a degree in Community health. I am planning on working in an athletic department and working with athletes.
I enjoy spending most of my time with my wonderful family and friends. I live on beautiful cattle ranch along the Two Medicine River. Where I spend a lot of my time working cattle, riding horses, roping, fishing and many more enjoyable opportunities, when I’m not at school or on the road. I am a very active person, I love to stay busy and I am so excited to travel all over to different places, and be able to meet new people and make new friends along the way.
I am young, and have this incredible opportunity to be Miss Indian Rodeo 2017, I am going to make the very best out of this year. I am beyond excited to travel and represent the awesome sport of rodeo. I am following my dreams and I couldn’t be more thankful that I am living one right now as Miss Indian Rodeo. I am a firm believer in importance of family, faith, hard work and dedication. You are never too old or too young to do something you always wanted to do. Follow your dreams!
Best wishes to you all, I hope to see all of you down the road and am looking forward to meeting you!
